Summing Up My Weekend

Ahoy minna-san! Here’s my weekly update again, will try to do more regular updates from now on (at least once a week) so this site won’t seem so dead.

Met up with my besties last fri, had dinner at Pepper’s Lunch with them. Grace had to fly off to Dubai the next day so all of us decided to catch up and have a farewell dinner together, but in actual fact it was more of like the usual chill-out session for all of us, and of course with such quality company it makes me feel like I’m all smiles again.

After two weeks of fucking emotional struggles and hell all bottled up inside, countless nights of insomnia (my sleeping habits got screwed again) and plenty of frustrations released on videogames, seriously it only takes a couple of good friends’ company to actually make me feel better and at ease again.

And I profess, I really need this kind of quality company, people that I am familiar enough and all to share and hear my crap. Because I am not in the mood to entertain anyone in meaningless small talks. Honestly this is so much better than having those people around you who claims to be your friend, and then just leave you in the dust as soon as you admit that you have problems, and you can’t be happy all the time. Leaving only yourself to fend on your own.

What goes around, comes around. So if you find that I’m ignoring your requests now, or distancing myself away from you, now you know. I am not being an anti-social you know? I am merely telling you frankly that I am not going to waste my fucking time hanging out with people who takes me for granted, just for the fucking sake of having people to hang out with. I may be naive or gullible in the past, but that doesn’t mean that I won’t change at all. Now I am certainly not that monsieur aaron anymore you’d thought I was long ago. So read that well and read that clear, get it in your mind and move on.

Now, onto some photos taken over the weekend. : ))

Bleach DS: Souten Ni Kakeru Unmei

*roll drums* Another game-related entry for today. Got my copy of Bleach DS 蒼天に駆ける運命 last Sunday from Gamescore, since I had it preordered sometime back. Actually could have gotten it much earlier by Lunar CNY one, but cause stock was low everywhere and Deli’s supplier cannot meet the demand of the local shops, so it came in very limited quantities. I was unlucky that I didn’t manage to secure a copy of the first batches since only five copies came in that time, so I had to wait. Then finally Jimmy (gupster) who has been working there told me that stock finally came in last week, so I had him reserved for me a copy. Didn’t actually had the time to play till yesterday, and after trying out the first 1 or 2 hours, finally managed to complete Ichigo’s story. My impressions of this game is that it reminded me alot of the old Sega Genesis’s Yuu Yuu Hakusho, and gameplay style is quite similiar to Guilty Gear-XX too. As a 2D-fighter, this game is actually pretty good. Requires some depth in mastering the fighting moves, and technically the controls are pretty tight too and of course the animation cutscenes are pretty good as well. BGM soundtrack is also a plus, OP is the Ichirin no Hana theme by High & Mighty Color (which is also the current OP for the anime), and some of the BGM tracks inside are derived from the same anime too actually. Overall this is a pretty good and fun game, didn’t really regret buying this. (as opposed to Bleach ~Heat the Soul 1~, which is a fucking short and sucky game on the Sony PSP)

And on a side-note, the Nintendo DS Lite (Crystal White edition) gets released today. Sigh, can only see it online, no chance to even touch it. Sadly I don’t think I will be buying it anytime soon, maybe end of the month or even next month. Bank account is a little dry for now so I can’t make any implusive purchases for now, since I spent quite abit on preorder of games for last month. Will try to take some pictures if I do spot any of my friends having it when I drop by Gamescore the next time round. (I know there will be some crazy asses who will buy it within the first week…orz)

Born To Be Happy

Life should be more interesting and happening, than this.

I mean seriously, c’mon man. Some anonymous girl going by the name of ‘Tammy’ (like I give a hoot about her name) loses her hp (whether intentionally or not is none of my concern) and then the videos of her sex act with her boyfriend captured inside gets uploaded by some bitch/arch-rival in her school. Then commotion starts everywhere online, off the streets and even among us. So hordes of horny guys and sad-fucks have literally watched the said video and had already started spreading the links of the different parts of videos now to their friends and peers so more people can get high over it? (hey I seriously don’t give a fucking damn abt that video)

For Christ’s sake (or for the victim’s sake, if you’re not a Christian), please lah. Get a fucking life and move on. This issue needs to get over and done with, and the victim has already moved on with her life and is undergoing counselling now. I don’t see how this thing can get discussed over and over again, on local blogs and discussions pertaining to the topic. I mean, it’s only a fucking seventeen year old anonymous girl, fucking with her boyfriend, recorded on a sucky 3GPP video format. If you need porn, you can probably get better ones than this definitely, I know you fucking sukebes out there can get better than this. And of course I profess, I still haven’t seen this Tammy video yet, cos I’m seriously not interested in it. (in all honesty, yes I have my own sources for my porn needs, so why should I subject myself to this kind of crap?)

You can be a fucking sukebe, but please be a smart one, and keep your morality at all times. And I’m quoting this: “The most important human endeavor is the striving for morality in our actions. Our inner balance, and even our very existence depends on it. Only morality in our actions can give beauty and dignity to our lives.” Originally by Albert Einstein, not yours truly of course. (yeah the poet in me sucks)

Angst Misery

This is gonna be another one of those fucking rants of my, so if you do not wish to read any please steer clear of this entry NOW.

I’m down with this emotionally-challenged syndrome again. And there’s those fucking academic concerns of my, and then some. Then I also have friends who simply thought that just because it’s not the end of the world for them, so they could take my words so lightly. (like oh why must I give a damn about your probs)

I had enough. I’m so fucking tired. I’m really emotionally-fuckingly hurted, that I just wished I had a personal space somewhere so I can hide in there forever, voided of everything.

I digress. Nobody should change or live for anyone. The moment you change yourself for someone or live for anyone, is when you really lose yourself. Tried and proven, by yours truly.

True friends should stick with you and accept you for who you are, and not ask you to change for others. What’s the point in that, when you start to change into someone else, losing yourself? What’s the essence in that? Make your fucking own judgement, and not listen to those self-proclaiming friends of yours. Wisen up.

I digress again. When shit happens to my friends, I never tell them it’s wholly alright that it’s not the end of the world, so they shouldn’t worry. Fuck it’s never wholly alright for anyone who’s in some kind of shit trouble, no matter how big or small it is. The least you can do, is stick with them and listen to them, lend them a listening ear in those times of need, and lend them your support. Not shrugging away the fact and trying to shun away from the topic. For fucking Christ’s sake, it’s during times like this that I realised that reality really bites, that it’s so fucking hard to find a friend who truly understands you.

I really really don’t wanna lose myself nor anyone. God, please give me a fucking break.

Animal Crossing: Wild World

Recently been playing more actively in Animal Crossing: Wild World, and just yesterday I finally finished the list of tasks that Tom Nook (one of the crucial NPCs in the game) asked me to do, so I’m free to roam and do whatever I want in the town for now. Managed to hook up to Nintendo’s WFC service for the first time too yesterday via my router at home, got my friend code and started adding in people like Timothy and Jimmy into my friend’s list. Had fun in Timothy’s town (see above pic for reference) for awhile, and then we hopped over to Jimmy’s town too, then finally my. Timothy helped me planted some trees that’s originally not in my town, like apple trees, coconut trees and pear trees. I have too much oranges in my town so it’s good for a change. Those of you who do play ACWW and wishes to add me to their friend list, please either msn me or leave a comment in this entry, and I will try to msg you directly or something.

On the other hand, thanks to Speedpost my new batch of order from Playstation JP was delivered to my house yesterday morning, and I finally got hold of the Bleach PSP games that I wanted, alongside with my Bleach: Selected Soul and also FFVII: Dirge of Cerberus for the PS2. Will post up some pictures when I have the time, am heading out for a jog now before I meet the guys in the evening for dinner, it will be a belated birthday-celebration for Val today as originally planned.

Have a nice weekend ahead everyone. : ))

Loveless

Happy Valentines everyone. As usual I have no dates awaiting for me this year, so this is just another overly-commercialised tragic day for me. Probably just the usual day routine for me; off to japanese class, ogle at the girl-who-always-wears-tubetop (who is a pretty good-looker btw) and then have dinner with Lorraine after classes.

Happy birthday to Valentine as well. Hope you get your dream Macbook Pro or iPod Nano from that special someone, whoever that is. Or if all else fails, there’s always plentiful of ogling or fantasizing goodness at the nice nice Apple Centres @ Cineleisure or Wheelock Place for ya lol.

For the rest of you guys and girls with either girlfriends or boyfriends, hope you’ll get laid or something later this evening. Enjoy the special day with your loved ones, and treasure them well.

Singapore Poly

ST Home section on pg15, on the Feb 11th Saturday issue. Grace complained earlier on in my blog comments saying that I didn’t blogged or pimped abt her at all, so undertaking the role as her bestest friend and ex-casting producer, how can I not do this? So here’s the obligatory entry.

Kelly Poon and Jocie Kok all graduated from Singapore Poly as well. My elder cousin too. Seems to be a pretty popular tertiary school locally here. Then again I would like to stress that it’s all abt the courses and modules that you are interested in, and not the school or institution that would determine where you should be. So please make your choice and decision wisely. : ))

The Lovelies In My Life

This entry is dedicated to my lovelies, the lovable friends and stuffs in my life. Firstly we have the lovely and gracious one, and also the suave-suave pianist wanna-be, lol. Ok ok don’t hammer me please, just joking haha. Syahmi’s in Taiwan now doing his final exercise, before he passes out from Sispec finally, and he’s getting his 3rd-sergeant rank in just a matter of weeks. And Grace’s gonna have her papers very soon, so I’m praying for both of them. Syahmi’s probably not going to see this, but hey man you better be back safe and sound alright, you still owe me a Sentosa chill-out session! Hehe. And what about Grace, she has been really really nice to me man, comforted me quite abit when I ranted to her abt my exam results. Really really appreciate it gurl, thanks for all that, and huggies to ya too. Can’t wait till next time I see ya guys! And thanks so much for that doggy plushie mascot and the braided friendship bands! Can’t thank ya enough heh.

New Year Shopping

Bought this Pierre Cardin wallet during my CNY shopping amongst the usual other stuffs like clothes etc, to replace my JPG wallet that I lost a couple weeks ago. Compartments are quite aplenty with nice interior designs, and there’s also a cool and nifty metal plate at the end outside, just like my previous JPG wallet. That pretty much sums up why it caught my eye.
