We’ll Get There Eventually

“Things ain’t what they used to be, but let’s take things, one step at a time. We’ll get there eventually, as long as we are together.”

Hey everyone, monsieur aaron’s back. Sorry about this week’s late update, but since I promise to write at least once a week, so here I am. No doubt everyone has some real issues in life to worry abt, me included. But still I try to live my life to the fullest and as positively as I could, for life is short and I’m not really quite young anymore, so I wanna live it with zest and love and appreciate the life that I’m given by my parents and God, to cherish and relish every moment of life. Nothing is perfect in life but it’s all about how you appreciate and enjoy every finest moment of it. And like they always say, what doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger.

Lovely lovely Grace bought me this from her Dubai trip, it’s actually a hand-made silk coaster. (somehow the first thing that came to my mind was Ali-baba haha!) Totally loved it to bits, but no way am I gonna use it as a coaster, what a bloody waste of the silk material if I do that. So currently I’m using this to rest my mp3 player and handphone on my desk, hehe.

Went to Thai Express for dinner with my besties last fri, it was my first time there and so I’m quite elated to try out their menu anyway. Tried their so-called chef recommended Chicken-Rice (sorry I can’t rem the official name of the dish) and it turned out to be pretty good, but my only complain was that measly-served scope of rice, which usually doesn’t cut it for me when it comes to my appetite. Luckily we ordered a few side dishes as well, which overall was pretty good as well for the money spent. So all three of us ate about $50+ worth of stuffs, overall pretty good and satisfied. Definitely going back again to try out their other menu dishes next time.

We walked around, then settled at Starbucks for some coffee. I had my fav Rhumba Frappuccino (it’s only this or Caramel Frappuccino for me when it comes to Starbucks) to round-off for the night. And of course with such great friends and company, coupled with aplenty of crapping around as well as those heart-to-heart conversations, it was a totally great night for me (hope the same’s for you guys as well). There’s nothing more I could possibly ask for, just that I wished we could hang out more often like this in future, hehe.

Took alot of pictures that day, we were basically cam-whoring the whole night, since Syahmi got himself a spanking new Canon Powershot digi-cam at the recent IT fair. There’s alot of pictures but I decided to just upload these few since these are my fav ones, especially the first and last picture.

Just wanna let you people know that I really really appreciate you guys in my life, thanks for brightening up my life, making my life so much more colorful. And I would like to use this chance to extend some appreciation and words to some of the greatest people in my life. Grace, Syahmi, thanks for filling up that special part of my life, I know I can always rely on you guys. Sorry for been late for appts and all that, sorry for tolerating my crap and whatever shit for that matter. I know my words would never be able to describe my current feelings now, but just wanna let you guys know that you are special to me, and I hope our journey of friendship won’t just stop here. Love ya guys.

Martin, despite your busy schedule, you had always kept your word in trying to keep in touch with me for that same reason, and I really appreciate it. Our lives after NS has been such a struggle, but I’m glad we’re all part of each other’s lives now. Brothers forever man. I know I can always count on you.

Kaiwei, the great great Mr. Towkay. Working towards your ambition is one thing, but you must also not forget that one must always seek to upgrade ourselves no matter how rich or poor we are. Hope one day you will find something that interests you to do, but I must also emphasize that continuing your family’s tradition is also a pride, so I’m proud of you. Looking forward to more of those night suppers with you ok, and thanks for been part of my life heh.

Shaun, the great alcoholic and forever hungry procrastinator (hehe). I didn’t forget you ok, how could I. I know both of us lead quite different lives now, and you hang out more often with them now. Just wanna let you know if there’s anything I could help, be not afraid to approach me, cos I will always be here for you. Thanks for been my friend all these years, and despite the history I had with the clique, I’m glad you didn’t abandon me like the rest. Friends forever, looking forward to our next meal together ya?

Ronald, the future pastry chef and the so-ever talented artist. Honestly your final year project left me in awe man, I’m so impressed. You’re probably one of those few 19 yr olds whom I really hold in admiration and respect, heh. And stop procrastinating already, be positive in your thinking man. Didn’t she replied your email already? Now that’s a good sign, work on it and don’t give up. Giving up on yourself is already losing half the battle, please do not give up. Do not let your past experience hindle your future. So when are you gonna start working on that mascot that you promised for our gang? Don’t forget ok hehe!

And of course, to the rest of the doutei clan and yesu baybee gang, thanks for filling up my life with all the happy moments and laughter, it’s because of you people that it makes my life so much more worth living for, thank you so much. And to those people whom I left out, don’t worry I didn’t forget abt you guys, there’s just too many ppl to mention and this entry’s getting abit long-winded by now, but yeah it’s my way of saying thanks to you great people in my life. Thanks for reading, and let’s look forward to tomorrow, for a brand new exciting day awaits for us. :)
