Summing Up My Weekend

Ahoy minna-san! Here’s my weekly update again, will try to do more regular updates from now on (at least once a week) so this site won’t seem so dead.

Met up with my besties last fri, had dinner at Pepper’s Lunch with them. Grace had to fly off to Dubai the next day so all of us decided to catch up and have a farewell dinner together, but in actual fact it was more of like the usual chill-out session for all of us, and of course with such quality company it makes me feel like I’m all smiles again.

After two weeks of fucking emotional struggles and hell all bottled up inside, countless nights of insomnia (my sleeping habits got screwed again) and plenty of frustrations released on videogames, seriously it only takes a couple of good friends’ company to actually make me feel better and at ease again.

And I profess, I really need this kind of quality company, people that I am familiar enough and all to share and hear my crap. Because I am not in the mood to entertain anyone in meaningless small talks. Honestly this is so much better than having those people around you who claims to be your friend, and then just leave you in the dust as soon as you admit that you have problems, and you can’t be happy all the time. Leaving only yourself to fend on your own.

What goes around, comes around. So if you find that I’m ignoring your requests now, or distancing myself away from you, now you know. I am not being an anti-social you know? I am merely telling you frankly that I am not going to waste my fucking time hanging out with people who takes me for granted, just for the fucking sake of having people to hang out with. I may be naive or gullible in the past, but that doesn’t mean that I won’t change at all. Now I am certainly not that monsieur aaron anymore you’d thought I was long ago. So read that well and read that clear, get it in your mind and move on.

Now, onto some photos taken over the weekend. : ))

Syahmi bought me these while he was over at Taiwan last month. This guy simply knows wat I like best. That’s a taiwanese-published street-fashion mag in the first pic, and a metallic hand bracelet in the second pic. Really really liked the metallic bracelet, I have already started wearing it. Thanks buddy!

Met up with Kaiwei last Sun evening for dinner, we haven’t seen each other for months so it’s really nice to see him again. Brought him over to Curry Favour near Capitol Building for dinner, since he likes to indulge in good food just like me and I was also having the craving for their curry rice. I ordered the Cheese Pork combo set this time round, together with the choice of salad, since the previous time I ordered my set with the miso soup and it wasn’t really that fantastic, so I decided to skip the soup this time round. Turned out the salad was pretty good, quite comparable with Pastamania’s one, except that this one you didn’t had to mix it yourself, since it’s served readily in a bowl. And I went for spicy curry instead this time round, but turned out I actually preferred the original norm curry’s taste after trying out the spicy favour, so yeah I will stick to the normal one the next time I go back.

After dinner we went to Starbucks to chill, and had some fun with our Sony PSPs. We also talked about various stuffs, including BGR issues and gaming stuffs. Having read his blog recently, I’m pretty glad that our discussions helped him have a better perspective in some things in life. I had known him for a good 8 years already, went through pretty much ups and downs with him during our adolescent years. I guessed he’s one of those friends whom I’m safe to say that I will invite to my future wedding, and then we will happily laugh back on ourselves down the road when both of us starts to have kids and all that. We don’t hang out often, since all of us have our own lives now, but I know that somehow we will always be there for each other, so yeah thanks for been part of my life.

That pretty much sums up my weekend. IT fair @ Suntec City and some stuffs coming up later this week, probably more photo updates to come.
