Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII

Sorry for the late updates. As promised here are some pictures of the games I gotten last week. And also both Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII soundtrack and Gackt’s Redemption single arrived earlier on this week, so I figured it would be good to do some photos update together along with the stuffs.

From top-left to bottom-right: Bleach PSP preorder goods, Bleach: Heat the Soul 1 and Heat the Soul 2 for PSP. Bleach: Selected Soul, Compilation of Final Fantasy VII: Reflections DVD and finally Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII for PS2.

Close-up view of the Kon handphone-strap that came with Bleach: Heat the Soul 1.

Close-up view of the soft pouch that came with Bleach: Heat the Soul 2.

Close-up view of the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII: Reflections DVD that came with Dirge of Cerberus: FFVII.

Back-view of the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII: Reflections DVD. Tons of video clips inside, but I haven’t seen it yet.

Gackt’s Redemption single, first-pressing limited edition. (Comes with a DVD featuring both ‘Redemption’ and ‘Longing’ PV clips)

Dirge of Cerberus: FFVII Soundtrack, first-pressing limited edition. (Comes housed in this double-sided hard-cover casing, each sides got different look. What u see here is the Gackt cover, the other side is the Vincent Valentine’s cover)

Close-up view of the actual soundtrack. (The picture above is just the housing cover, this is the actual picture of the soundtrack. Character Art by Tetsuya Nomura, one of my fav artists.)

The complete hardcover housing that came with the original soundtrack which enables you to store the Gackt single, DoC soundtrack and the DoC game all into one. Neat.

More impressions of Dirge of Cerberus to come. I’m only about one hour into this game so I can’t say much abt it, except that the story of this game takes place directly 3 years after the Advent Children events. Vincent Valentine is the main character role of this game, and the genre of this game is more of like an action-FPS actually, something akin to a mix of Devil May Cry and Resident Evil 4. Very unlike any of the previous games that I had played by Square-Enix. Still it’s quite a fresh and interesting experience, and there’s quite alot of interesting characters in this game, also not to forget Yuffie Kisaragi the kawaii ninja makes a comeback in this game sequel to Advent Children. (Actually Cloud and gang was said to be back in this game as well, but I’m not sure whether they’re in playable form since I haven’t gotten far yet, so we shall see)
