December 30, 2004

Photo-a-blog

Christmas came and went by, 2 more days and it will be soon be 2005…somehow time flies past very fast like a blink. Just earlier on this year I was looking forward to my ORD date in june, and now it’s already closing to year 2005. Lotsa things happened for me this year, be it relationship, friends, work etc. It somehow changed me into a stronger person though, not that it’s bad. Afterall when you have imperative issues in life to resolve, you tend to learn from it and grow up. Moving on in life was hard for me, especially after what a downfall I had in my love-life, but still I’m glad I had finally moved on somehow, out of that melancholy despair that overshadowed me for awhile. Life was tough from then on, but still eventually I did it. People often say that no matter how hard things are, as long as you do try, you will somehow be able to do it, be it the smooth way or the hard way.

Well, I promised some pictures earlier on didn’t I? Here they are, it’s nothing much…just some photos taken of my new desktop system as well as some news articles related to sgGamers, it was featured in ST’s Digital Life section on the 21st December 2004. I wanted to do this earlier on, but always had no time. So well here they are, enjoy the pictures.

My new DIY system, in a mix of black and silver-tone colors. Looks cool isn’t it? I kinda like the combination of the colors used, initially I wanted to go for an all-black kinda thing, but somehow it turned out my speakers had a silver touch to it, so I went to look for an LCD display that’s in silver color, to match up with the overall feel and look.

A picture of my current desktop screen’s wallpaper, featuring one of Masumune Shirow’s works, Appleseed. They remade it into a new animation movie this year, the original been an OVA series produced back in 1988. If you’re an anime fan, the new animation OVA is highly recommended, every aspect of the visual presentation and action direction was very nicely converted and done, I consider this anime to be one of those top-notch titles, if not the best. Setting it as another CG-breakthrough in terms of special effects and visual presentation, we only used to see these kind technology used in movies like Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, Wonderful Days and Ghost in the Shell: Innocence.

Picture taken in another angle, still trying to improve my photography skills.

This photo was featured on one of the Digital Life pages from the December 21st 2004 issue, featuring the regulars from the sgGamers community. It was the chalet event that I went to earlier on, but you can’t spot me inside, haha. I won’t identify who is who, but let’s just say most of the community were in there. Oh btw, can you recognise inside the picture the famous bananaman that took part in the Singapore Idols? Try to spot him if you can, he’s really inside lol.

A photo snap-shot of the Digital Life featured article on sgGamers, rofl I feel like I’m advertising for sgGamers.net, bah. (^ ^);

Ok that’s all peeps, going out now for a KTV singing session with my friends. Will be back tonight to blog more if I have the time, I realised I haven’t been blogging substantial topics for awhile, so I promise I will write something before the year ends. See ya guys again! (^ ^)V

  2. Heh thx for the compliments pal. Well as for moving on, let’s just say, time tends to heal everything. Then again, I’ve learnt through the hard way, that we hurt others by our very existence, ‘cos that’s just the way we live. So it’s kinda ironic in a way…but I guess that’s the way of life. It’s just like how we’re always seeking to co-exist with each other, despite the differences etc, the war and politics going on in this world.
